But think of all you can accomplish on your own.  It's nice to be in
love, and you carry the memories around with you always, but we are
really alone. It doesn't matter who you lay down with, you always wake
up alone.  It doesn't matter who you spend your life with, you always
die alone.  Your accomplishments are done by yourself alone.  I don't
think one's goal in life should be to fall in love.  I've known too
many girls who have had this, and they fail to realize the person they
really are.

It's great to fall in love with someone else.  But first I think we all
have to know who we are and where we are going before we can attach
ourselves to anyone else, or anyone else can attach themselves to us.
