Angel!

to actually *hear* me say "Howdy!" :)  I am encouraged to hear how God
is working in your life.  As you encouraged the father of the baby you 
watched over the other night, you must have been encouraged yourself
by the theological discussion.  I have found it a truth time and time again
that the encourager is encouraged.  Glad to hear that the flame of the 
Holy Spirit burns brightly in your heart.  Sometimes, we have to go through
what I call "basic training" to get to that point.  By basic training I mean 
when I feel way down in the valley and it seems that all else around me
falls, even myself, and I realize how much I need God.  I go through basic
training often in this continual refinement and renewal in becoming Christ-
like.  You may feel that you are "pretty weak."  Perhaps you are still in a
basic training moment, but His strength is perfect and His grace is 
sufficient.  And you are not vague in seeking God and the newness He has
in where He has called and presently calls you as opposed to looking for
"something that has BEEN done."  Trying to understand yourself is of 
great importance and I applaud your commitment to learning more about 
who you are under God and what He has planned for you.  I ask that you 
keep me in your prayers.  I don't go through extreme "basic training" 
moments, but I struggle regularly and I have my persistent thorns that I 
wrestle with.  I was talking with God as I drove to work this morning.  I 
guess I am just not trusting Him enough.  My fear comes from a lack of
trust in God.  Keep me in prayer.  Thanks for your mail and your blessing.
God continue to be with you and bless you as He refines you and makes
you strong.
